The use of mouthwash is a daily routine for personal hygiene. It helps to remove plaque on the teeth, improves the odor of the mouth and reduces the effects of acidity caused by the activity of bacteria.
Scientists from the University of Glasgow in Scotland have experimentally demonstrated that mouthwash contains at least two negative substances: first, lice containing alcohol kill beneficial bacteria at the top of the digestive tract and irritate mucous. Second, the number of cancer cases has increased. More than 4000 people participated in the study, of which 1962 had cancer.
The results of an analysis of participants' habits and personal hygiene tools led to a serious conclusion that the excessive use of mouthwash stimulates the formation of cancer cells in the body.
Smokers are more susceptible to these diseases because they use laundry to rinse their mouths and eliminate tobacco odors. However, the disadvantages of this method are not less than the disadvantages of smoking proper, as they cause the emergence of cancer cells in the throat, the oral cavity and even in the stomach.
Doctors are advised to use laxatives once a day. People with no dental problems or periodontal disease do not need to use it.
On the other hand, the results of a study conducted by scientists from Harvard and Puerto Rico, with the participation of 1,200 people aged 40 to 65 years (at risk of diabetes), have shown that Obese people are more likely to have 20% diabetes when they use a mouthwash once a day. And 30% when used to wash twice a day.
