There will be plenty of options to use WhatsApp’s fingerprint feature, including the option to extend the period of keeping the app unlocked up to 30 minutes.
WhatsApp management announced the availability of the feature of opening private accounts on the chat app via fingerprint for Android systems, after announcing this feature first for iPhone iOS phone systems.
According to The Verge, a tech news website, the WhatsApp app made this feature available for phones running the iOS operating system in early 2019.
The site explained that by activating this feature, the user of the WhatsApp application will need their fingerprint to open their account, even if they open their phone screen.
This feature will not be available worldwide, but once available globally, the process of activating it will be very simple via the app’s to-do list.
There will be many options to use the fingerprint feature of WhatsApp, including the ability to extend the period of keeping the app unlocked up to 30 minutes, in addition to the ability not to display the content of messages when they arrive in notifications to maintain their confidentiality.
