Patrick Burley was 2 years old when he had his first pubic hair.

A rare mutation

Patrick's precocious puberty led to the fact that when he was three years old, he weighed up to seven years.

"I was surrounded by doctors, they spent all sorts of tests, including mine, which was one of the key variables for my physical age," Patrick said.

Patrick started smoking cigarettes at the age of nine, then tried to smoke marijuana.
Things got worse when doctors decided to stop Patrick's hormonal treatment at the age of 11.

"I started going out with a 17-year-old girl and I told her that I was 16 when I was not older than 12," he said.

Patrick remembers the experience and said: "I had two entrees and the next morning I told my dad that I did not want to go to school. I stumbled while walking."
But his parents sent him to school, however.
"I talked about LSD to some of my friends at lunch time," Patrick said. "I have over exaggerated the description of the experience and someone thought that the idea of putting real estate pills in the glass of a person could to be a good idea. "
But the girl who put the drugs in her drink has felt very tired to confess.
"I was arrested and left handcuffed school, it was a turning point in my life," he says.

Father's problems
Patrick's father suffers from the same illness, but he does not talk much about it and "his childhood was very painful".
"When I was five, I had the sex drive of a guy who was ten years older than me," says Patrick, "he could tell me how to handle that, but he does just could not. "
Upon his arrival at the age of 15, Patrick felt like other children. He felt that he could possibly be like his peers.
"I abandoned addicted friends, I started studying and playing sports and I also decided to go to college."
In adulthood, Patrick finally started talking about his condition and sharing his situation with his wife and friends.
Surprisingly, he received a lot of sympathy and attention.
"My story was sort of therapeutic," Patrick concludes.
Patrick could be reconciled.
In 2015, his wife Meredith gave birth to a boy named "Ned" and tests revealed that he was not suffering from the disease.
