The African Football Confederation (AU) is looking for a country to host the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after its withdrawal from Cameroon seven months ago.

African officials made their decision Friday at a 10-hour meeting in Accra, Ghana's capital.

Federation President Ahmed Ahmed said the continental body will "determine the host country by the end of the year".

"Cameroon has not fulfilled a number of conditions," the statement said, adding that he did not want the "Africa Cup of Nations" to face a problem that could jeopardize the situation. success of the most important competition of the continent ".

The postponement of the session is out of the question due to commitments and contracts.

It will be the first in June and July, with the participation of 16 to 24 teams.

Ahmed said last year that Cameroon "has not convinced the African Union of the ability to host the session," while Cameroonian authorities have subsequently eased the concerns of the African Union. African Union and have ruled out the delay of completion projects on time.
