As he recently announced with regard to Instagram, Facebook seems to hide the number of "likes" on his network, according to technology blogger Jean Manchon Wong.
In August, Facebook began trying to hide the number of likes on Instagram posts in seven countries, including Canada and Brazil, so users would not be affected by fan size and the content itself.
The engineer, known for revealing new features in apps and sites and having them announced before their official launch, has found the number of likes with Facebook's Android application.

Wong posted a picture of a message that she posted on her Facebook account, thus confirming this information because it did not give the number of "likes" and only concerned some people having liked the message.
TechCrunch, a tech news site, citing the company "Facebook", confirmed that it was planning to test the removal of the number of likes from users' posts on the network, while stating that users could not not note it for the moment.
According to the website, the company declined to disclose the results or the reasons for the tests that it performs in terms of hiding the number of tastes from the "Instagram" application in several countries around the world.
The site said that "Facebook" may have the intention of gradually applying this feature on its networks, but it will certainly back down if users are bothered by this situation or if advertising revenues are low.
