In an influential video and on her personal Facebook page, Lebanese singer Fairouz mourned the late Lebanese musician Elias Rahbani after hearing the news of his death on Monday.
Fayrouz released the video, which shows footage of the late Elias Rahbani, with music composed by the “Rahbani Brotherhood” for the song “Forget the Love Loves Al Hara”.
While the post met with great interaction from the pioneers of the blue site, who in turn wrote mourning sentences speaking of the deceased.
Corona hit it
It should be noted that death was absent from Lebanese musician Elias Rahbani on Monday as he died aged 83 after being infected with the novel Corona virus.
Arab artists, meanwhile, were quick to pay homage to the deceased musician.
The late Elias Rahbani, born in 1938, is a musician, composer, arranger, conductor, songwriter and the younger brother of the two deceased brothers, Asi and Mansour Rahbani.
Rahbani studied music at the Lebanese Academy and the National Institute of Music, and took private lessons under the guidance of two French music teachers.
He has also collaborated with Lebanese singer Fairouz in many famous songs including “Ya Laure Hobak”, “The Forgotten Oudah”, “Maak”, “Ya Bird Al Warwar”, “Between Me and You”, “Jenna Al Dar And “Kill me Oona Black Eyes” and “O brothers”, “Displaced, save us”, “Yay Yai, oh forget me”, “It’s about time” and “Stay up late at night”.
