At the opening, visitors wandered through all the scenic spots of the snowy world of Harbin.

Thousands of artists and workers have built buildings in the city, where temperatures are below 35 degrees Celsius.

Despite the cold, there is a competition for winter swimming between more than 300 people in cold water.

The festival, which began in the 1980s, will last until February 5th.
