Xiaomi Unveils Redmi TV, Featuring a 70-inch 4K HDR Screen

Regarding TVs, Xiaomi is no stranger to this segment. The company has launched several TVs in the Xiaomi Mi TV Series, but it seems that for the first time, the company will launch a new TV under its Redmi sub-brand, Redmi TV, featuring a 70-inch screen and of a 4K resolution with support for HDR content.

The TV was officially unveiled in Beijing and, according to Xiaomi, it will cost 3,799 RMB, which equals 531 USD based on current exchange rates, making it a TV that is economical for its size, accuracy and functionality . This TV will feature a quad-core Amlogic processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. In addition, it has other features such as Dolby Audio and DTS HD.

Customers can also expect a range of connectivity options, such as WiFi, Bluetouth 4.2 and two USB ports, as well as three HDMI ports, and so on. There is also a Bluetooth remote control that will come early with the TV.

For now, Xiaomi seems to have the intention of launching this TV in China only because there is currently no information on the availability of this smart TV in the world. However, some Xiaomi Mi TVs having left China, this could happen. Same thing with the new Redmi TV.
