Al-Marsad Journal: Egyptian actress Yasmine Sabry gained attention after wearing the world’s most expensive necklace Cartier gave her after being chosen as ambassador for Cartier’s latest Panthere campaigns in the Middle East.
The necklace turned out to be a rare crocodile-shaped piece designed in 1975 by Mexican artist Maria Felix, while Yasmine Sabry was ranked as the third woman to wear this rare piece in the world, after Maria Felix and the Italian artist Monica Bellucci, who wore it in 2006 at the Cannes Film Festival.
For her part, Yasmine Sabry explained that the necklace is made of 120 carats, and contains emeralds and precious jewels in green and yellow colors, and was designed by Cartier in 1975.
Sabri said: “The necklace is a rare piece and has only been worn 3 times, revealing the story of the necklace, which consists of two crocodiles, one yellow and one green. Two months later, the necklace was designed and has become a rare piece to keep until now.
