Yemen's participation in a conference of the Union of Arab Universities

The Saba University in Yemen concluded its participation in the activities of the General Conference of the Federation of Arab Universities at its 52nd session in Sharm el-Sheikh with a delegation chaired by Mr. Ahmed El-Naggar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. The conference reviewed the applications for admission submitted by several Arab universities and approved the admission of several member universities and active members of the Union, as well as scientific, academic and administrative plans and programs put by the General Secretariat of the Union, as well as cooperation and consultation between Arab universities in the fields of higher education, Communication channels between universities and Arab institutions, in more activities and activities of the Union's scientific councils, centers and societies, and examine the problems of higher education in the Arab world.
The conference meetings discussed a number of projects, including the Arab Influence Factor Project, the Arab Universities Classification Project, the Arab Qualifications Center Project and the cooperation projects between the Union and the Arab Universities. The conference concluded with a number of recommendations, including: Drafting of the "Sfeir" agreement for the dissemination of scientific research by providing technical support and developing programs of scientific journals in in order to preserve heritage and facilitate research for Arab researchers and university professors who can not publish it internationally.
