Zamalek officials initially agreed to loan Ayman Hafni, the team's playmaker, to Ismaili until the end of the current season, before closing the door at winter transfer.
Hafni has received the prior approval of the Zamalek administration, but Zamalek's board is waiting for Swiss coach Christian Grosse to accept the possibility of lending the player or not settling it permanently.
