Zamalek bets 4-0 against Kenya's Gourmhaya in Group A of the opening of the African Confederation

The Egyptian Zamalek team kicked off its African Confederation Cup (CAF) group stage with a 2-0 defeat at Gourmehia in the first round of Group C of the continental competition.

Zamalek scored a goal early in the seventh minute through Ibrahim Hassan, and Gormahia replied with two goals from Jack on Tuesday, at the 25th and 38th minutes.

Ibrahim Hassan scored the equalizer in the 44th minute to finish the first half with a positive draw with two goals apiece.

Gormahia was able to add the third and fourth goals with Nicolas Kipkiroy and Dennis Olic in the 51st and 91st minutes.

Gormahaya scored his first three points at the start of the continental championship.

Later in the day, the second match is played in the same group, with Algerian Nasr Hussein Dai playing with Angolan Petro Atletico.
