Madrid – Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane said he was not expecting Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas to leave his club, as many media reports say these days. He is confident that Navas will do a lot for the club this season.
Zidane said at a press conference on Friday: "No, he's a Real Madrid player and important, working on it is the most important thing for any coach."
Zidane pointed out that Navas was and will always be a professional player, adding, "We will play a lot of games and I will use it."
"He does not need the support of Real Madrid's goalkeeper," said Zidane, "Keylor is here and I'm thinking of keeping him, he's always been successful and he's still looking for titles."
"I want to continue with him on this adventure because I know that he will help the team a lot this season and that he will be a great competitor."
