Yesterday, we had some interesting leaks on the fact that ZTE is about to unveil a new ZTE Axon S smartphone with a unique design with a retractable screen on the side to access the front and rear cameras. We received new leaks revealing that ZTE was also preparing to unveil another ZTE Axon V, at least for now.
The ZTE Axon V phone displays the front cameras permanently on the right side after they have been installed on a large part of the phone structure in the upper right corner. This eliminates the need to use a context-sensitive mechanism similar to that used in the Oppo F11 Pro or the same display mechanism as on phones such as Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. The images suggest that the ZTE Axon V will have two cameras on the front and the same number of cameras on the back.
ZTE decided to use these unique designs so that the screen overlaps the front end as much as possible and frees it completely from the frame. While some companies have tried to use screens for the same purpose, as well as for cameras, ZTE has decided to resort to these unique designs of ZTE Axon S phones and ZTE Axon V.
To date, ZTE has not recognized the existence of this device and it is unclear when it can be expected that it will happen and how much it will cost.
