Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the suggestion by former President Donald Trump’s adviser Steve Bannon to behead Anthony Fauci and FBI Bureau Chief Christopher Ray was not enough to ban it.
Zuckerberg, in a meeting with his employees, felt the suggestion was not enough to violate the platform’s rules in a way that leads to its permanent ban, according to a company employee.
The “Twitter” site had permanently suspended Steve Bannon’s account last week, after making beheading comments in a music video.
The video was posted on Bannon’s Facebook page for 10 hours, about a week ago, and was viewed nearly 200,000 times before the network removed it, citing its rules on violence and policies of incentive.
