The Truman School Board meets at 5:30 p.m. in the board conference room. These meetings are open to the public.

Having fun together for caregivers and their care partner is not a daily occurrence in a world of medical appointments and health issues. And yet, it is a necessary time together. Ridge “Claw of life” The program is open to all caregivers / care partners, whether or not you are registered with CREST. It offers a fun activity you can do together, a perfect way to spice up your life with fun and great food in one afternoon. Join them from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on October 21 for a Halloween activity. “Claw of life” will take place at the CREST office, located at 820 Winnebago Avenue in Fairmont. You will enjoy a coffee, a snack, laughter and a moment of relaxation and visit with the others. This event is free, but reservations are encouraged by calling the CREST office at (507) 235-3833.

October 9 is the Lewisville Fall Festival. There will be vendors / artisans from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Ambulance sponsored chili meal from 11 a.m. at 1 p.m., carriage rides, coloring and scarecrow competition. Watch for more details to follow.
