The following school districts canceled classes on Monday due to weather conditions and power outages:
- Blackfoot School District 55
- Idaho Charter School of Science and Technology
- Bingham Academy
- Blackfoot Charter Community Learning Center
- Chief Tahgee Elementary Academy
A strong wind warning is in effect until 4 p.m. Monday for all of eastern Idaho. Winds between 35 and 45 mph with gusts of up to 60 mph can be expected most of the day, according to the National Weather Service. The winds will be stronger until 9 a.m.
