School closures, delays and transportation changes for February 20

Below is a list of closures and weather-related delays for Wednesday:

● Federal offices in the Washington area will be closed.

● Public schools in the city of Alexandria will be closed.

● The public schools of Anne Arundel County will be closed.

● The public schools of Arlington County will be closed.

● Calvert County Public Schools will be closed.

● Charles County Public Schools will be closed.

● Culpeper County Public Schools will be closed.

● Fairfax County Public Schools will be closed.

● Falls Church City public schools will be closed.

● The public schools of Fauquier County will be closed.

● Frederick County, Md., Public schools will be closed.

● Howard County Public Schools will be closed.

● King George County schools will be closed.

● Loudoun County Public Schools will be closed.

● Public schools in Manassas will be closed.

● Montgomery County Public Schools will be closed.

● Prince George County Public Schools will be closed.

● Prince William County Public Schools will be closed.

● Public schools in Rappahannock County will be closed.

● St. Mary's County Public Schools will be closed.

● Spotsylvania County Public Schools will be closed.

● Stafford County Public Schools will be closed.

● The American University will be closed.

● The main campus of Georgetown University will be closed.

● George Washington University will be closed.

● The University of Maryland at College Park will be closed. .

Transportation changes

● Metrorail stated that it would operate trains every 12 minutes on all lines. He said service levels could be increased during the day if conditions permit. The metrobus service will start on a limited basis and only on the main roads.
