This is the third time Williams will try to break the record, having lost in the final at Wimbledon and the US Open in 2018. Simona Halep, on the other hand, is looking to add a second major championship to her trophy after winning the 2018 Roland Garros. She is also no stranger to the Grand Slam finals, which was her fifth chance to win the equipment at one of the biggest prizes of tennis.
