Makes you think about death and get sad and everything
One of the key ingredients that makes the missing brawler in action Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game so convincing is its brilliant soundtrack. Composed by American chiptune artists Anamanaguchi, OST is packed with hard-rock tunes, blending classic arcade sounds with a modern melody to mark Scott and his friends’ fierce battle in Toronto.
And if you missed this opportunity to acquire the soundtrack the first time around, fear not, because Limited Run Games announced a second press of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game vinyl from the soundtrack, to arrive alongside the long-awaited return of the scrolling brawler.
The reissue will feature two colorful vinyl records, the first being a reissue of the original 2010 release, while the second vinyl will feature a selection of unreleased tracks. So die-hard fans who already own the original record might want to dub it. The sleeve exhibits a wonderful art of Scott Pilgrim’s memorable cast of characters, recreated by artists Julia Scott and Christy Frisby.
If you want to join in the fun, pre-orders are now open in the Limited Run Games store. The double vinyl set costs around $ 35, while a package including an Anamaguchi shirt featuring the vibrant art of Frisby will set you back around $ 55. Pre-orders will remain open until February 23, with soundtracks scheduled for early summer.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Complete Game Edition launches tomorrow, January 14, on PS4, PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Stadia. A! OF THEM! THREE! FOUR! …
