Scream fans will soon be able to Airbnb the home of the movie

Some people like to relax and / or have fun on vacation, but others apparently like to watch VHS tapes and be scared (spoiler alert) of their boyfriend and boyfriend. If you’re in the latter group, here’s some good news: to promote the next fifth Scream movie (simply titled Scream, Unfortunately), Airbnb will leave Scream fans spend a night at Sidney Prescott’s current home. Well, not the “real” house, because Sidney Prescott is not a real person, but it is the house of the movie. You get it.

Only three nights will be available (October 27, 29 and 31), but it will only cost $ 5 and you will get a whole Scream fan experience out of the case. For starters, Dave Arquette will present an introduction to the character of Dewey Riley, which apparently means the house is rented out. In the universe, which is exactly the sort of tempting thing that would inspire a new murder spree in the Scream movies.

You and your three guests will be able to see precise details in the house and watch the four originals Scream movies on VHS, presumably while a friend points out all the tropes and clichés of horror movies to sort of deconstruct the genre, and there will be Scream– snacks like Jiffy Pop and ice cream, as well as a Scream loot package.

The best part, however, is What Hypebeast refers to like a “direct phone line that will connect you to Ghostface”, making it seem like you can just call him whenever you want rather than sitting around and waiting for him to interrupt you with his incessant questions about horror films. This might be your chance to ask him (a lot of people were Ghostface in those movies) what kind of movies they like!

You can find more information on the house’s Airbnb page here, but be aware that reservations will only open on October 12 and it looks like they will very limit. Additionally, Airbnb will donate to Ween Dream, a charity that provides free Halloween costumes to children in need.
