Terrible.
Even though the Seattle Seahawks (6-2) scored 34 points against the Buffalo Bills (7-2), Russell Wilson threw for 390 yards and two touchdowns and ran for one, but he also committed four turnovers that all led to points for the Invoices. He’s been sacked five times and knocked down 16 times, the most knockdowns of any QB this season. It was the defense that took center stage for an extremely gruesome performance, getting cooked for over 400 yards and four total TDs by Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen. And that was with seven bags! The final score was 44-34 but it wasn’t really that close.
Seattle must now hope for a loss for the Arizona Cardinals to the Miami Dolphins or they will lose the lead in NFC West.
1st half
Buffalo had the easiest touchdown of the year. A big punt return from Andre Roberts put the Bills 45th in Seattle. Josh Allen completed three assists, including a deep ball to Isaiah McKenzie on a cover bust to open the scoring. 7-0 invoices.
After a three-and-out from the Seahawks, Josh Allen further split the Seahawks’ defense and found Tyler Kroft on a first touchdown and a goal. 14-0 invoices.
Seattle drove 70 yards to the Bills’ 5-yard line, but when Travis Homer got pocketed in the 3rd and 1st, they made it in the 4th and 1. The play went south and Wilson was removed by Jordan Poyer in the end zone. Buffalo turned that into a basket, as the Seahawks’ defense was able to get two sacks from Josh Allen. 17-0 invoices.
After a pretty terrible kicking return from Freddie Swain backing Seattle in the 15th, Russell Wilson took eight games to get them into the end zone. Unlike the previous player, who saw a 3rd and 1 misfires turn into 4th and 1 misfires, Deejay Dallas’ 3rd and 1 misdemeanor was followed by a one yard touchdown by Russell Wilson on a stealth (!). 17-7 invoices.
Oh, did you think the Seahawks’ defense would do something? They just escorted Josh Allen and his company into the end zone. Five games, all first downs, and an Allen touchdown to a wide open Gabriel Davis. 24-7 invoices.
Wilson put the Seahawks in the shooting range, only for the disc to stop after two targets against Freddie Swain ended in incomplete passes. One of them would have been for a touchdown. 24-10 invoices. Buffalo’s one-minute attack hit the outside edge of the range and Tyler Bass missed the 60.
2nd half
Russell Wilson was sacked when Jerry Hughes first possession of the half. Buffalo recovered and ended up in 2nd and 27th place after a Carlos Dunlap sack and offensive pass interference. No worries, because Gabriel Davis was wide open until 2. Fortunately, the Bills did not score a touchdown even if this game against Davis should have been considered as such. Sean McDermott did not dispute. 27-10 invoices.
The Seahawks came back with a four-yard touchdown by Deejay Dallas on an 11-play, 75-yard practice that featured a pair of third conversions from Wilson to David Moore and Jacob Hollister respectively. 27-17 invoices.
After a three-and-out by this defense (with a sack from Jamal Adams), Seattle was back in business on offense and benefited from brutal passer brutality against Buffalo. A big catch-and-run from Will Dissly also helped the Seahawks enter the FG lineup. Wilson almost found Tyler Lockett on a miracle touchdown, but they had to settle for 3. 27-20 invoices.
The Seattle defense had every chance to come off the field. Jamal Adams committed a third sustaining penalty on what would have been the Seahawks D’s eighth sack of the game. Then on the 3rd and 16th, a total blitz was blocked with a screen pass to John Brown until the 2nd. Quinton Dunbar interfered with Stefon Diggs on a fade, then Zack Moss scored with a meter. 34-20 Bills with 11:27 remaining.
Wilson threw a 3rd and 25 pick at Tre’Davious White and Josh Allen ran one from the 3-yard line in the next play. 41-20 Bills with 9:38 remaining.
Haha. David Moore wide open. It’s nice of the Seahawks attack to stop turning her over. 41-27 invoices at 8:50 am to come.
A three-and-out by defense led to a Buffalo punt, choosing not to go in the 4th and 1 near midfield with more than seven minutes to go. Good decision as Wilson was sacked and again sought a turnover. It was that kind of day. 44-27 invoices.

DT Jarran Reed left the pitch with a left knee injury.
S Jamal Adams has apparently re-aggravated his groin injury.
CB Quinton Dunbar started in the 4th quarter and was replaced by Linden Stephens.

The Seahawks remain on the road for a game against the Los Angeles Rams (5-3), who had a bye this week. Kicks off is 1:25 p.m. PT on FOX on November 15.
