When the Seahawks beat the 49ers on Sunday afternoon, they did so without their top tight end, Gerald Everett. Everett was placed on the Reserve / COVID-19 list after testing positive last week, despite having been vaccinated.
But on Monday afternoon, it was reported that Everett had tested negative for COVID.
Carroll says Gerald Everett tested negative for COVID today, so he “has a chance” to play Thursday. He will need another negative test.

If Everett, who is fully vaccinated, can test negative again in a short week, he could return to the field after a one-game absence and dress up Thursday night against his former team, the Los Angeles Rams.
Everett has caught eight passes for 77 yards and one touchdown so far in 2021, including five receptions for 55 yards in the Vikings loss, which was the last game he has appeared in.
Everett spent four seasons in Los Angeles and shared the tight room with Tyler Higbee. His best season came in 2020, where he set career highs with 41 catches for 417 yards during the season, while adding a touchdown.
