Sean Penn returns to the director’s chair while playing with his own daughter Dylan Penn by his side in the trailer for the new true story thriller Flag Day.
Sean, 60, directs and stars in this film, adapted from the 2005 book Flim-Flam Man: The True Story of My Father’s Counterfeit Life by Jennifer Vogel.
Penn plays John Vogel, a beloved father who hid his life as a crook, counterfeiter and bank robber from his daughter Jennifer, played by Dylan.

The trailer opens with Jennifer Vogel (Dylan Penn) watching a high-speed chase unfold on television, with her father John (Sean Penn) fleeing the law.
