Sean Spicer debuts in "Dancing with the Stars"

Sean Spicer, former press secretary to President Donald Trump, made his first appearance in "Dancing with the Stars" on Monday night.

Spicer appeared with his dance partner Lindsay Arnold, dressed in a neon-green ruffled shirt and doing salsa in the Spice Girls movie "Spice Up Your Life". The routine began with Spicer bongos before being joined on stage by Arnold.

At one point, as Spicer walked down the steps of the "Dancing With The Stars" stage, he waved his arms wildly, creating a moment instantly gif for the Internet.

Spicer and Arnold scored 12 points out of 30 for their dance program, the second lowest score of the night, and the performance was highlighted online.

However, Spicer, who was press attaché from the beginning of the Trump administration until July 2017 and who had been criticized for his treatment of the press, seemed to know that he was looking silly in a tweet sent before the broadcast of the performance.

In response to a tweet reminding readers that Spicer would debut in "Dancing With The Stars", he wrote: "Trust me, I certainly would not have forgotten and once you've seen the outfit I should wear tonight, you will not forget it for a long time – even after many treatment sessions, piece of paper. "

After the show, Spicer responded to a tweet from former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, encouraging the show 's audience to vote for him.
