Less than 24 hours after telling reporters that he hoped that viewers would "put politics aside" to take advantage of his performances on Dance with the starsSean Spicer tweeted reminding that, yes, he can still be the same polarizing man that he was while he was press attaché to the White House.

In a tweet deleted since, Spicer reacted Tuesday to a social media support rally by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, suggesting the DWTS the judges lacked spirituality in their lives. How else can Spicer be the second best scorer of the night?

"Obviously, these judges will not be with me," Spicer wrote. "Send a message to #Hollywood so that those of us who defend #Christ are not excluded."

The Twitter conversation began with Huckabee, encouraging viewers to "create an emotional collapse in Hollyweird" by voting for Spicer's victory. DWTS. "Sean Spicer is a good guy and a brave sport to go into DWTS," Huckabee wrote. "Let's show him a little love!"

One of Spicer's supporters captured his tweet before it was deleted.

After the premiere on Monday, Spicer told the press that he had become used to the adverse reaction surrounding his casting, but that "I've been living this for a while. I was waiting for it. We are where we are as a country. But if people can connect and watch this diverse cast, [look at how] they encourage one another, they flourish for two hours. We can put all policies and policies aside. To root for different people, to have fun, to relax, that's what we should have more. That's why this show is such a great opportunity for people to connect and see something that gives them a respite from everything they see in their daily lives. "

Spicer's salsa got 12 out of 30. Nobody was eliminated in the first night.
