It’s been 25 months since Netflix dropped season three of Strange things. You will need to be patient a little longer, however, before returning to Hawkins. The fourth season of the sci-fi horror series will be released in 2022.
Along with news of the release window, Netflix has dropped another teaser. Most of the 30-second video features footage from previous seasons, but there is a glimpse of a monster that appears to be much bigger than either the Mind Flayer or the Demogorgon.
This could be the most ambitious season of Strange things to date, as filming took place in Georgia, Lithuania and New Mexico. Part of the season will take place in Russia, where Jim Hopper is being held captive. Hopefully Netflix is ​​considering an early 2022 release date so fans don’t have to wait too long.
