A Seattle cop got caught in a viral video announcing he was leaving the force because of the Black Lives Matter protests – telling a protester, “I’m leaving. You have won! “
“Have a good day, mate?” the policeman asks the man from the passenger side window after stopping in his patrol car.
“Not really, you are there”, answers the activist.
“I’m sorry about that, but don’t worry, man, because guess what?” I leave. You have won! Two months, baby. I’m out! ”Said the officer.
The incredulous protester asks, “Are you about to resign?”
“I’m f … gone, my brother,” replies the anonymous officer, adding that he feels “good” by his decision.
“So what are you just tired of police brutality or are you tired of what’s going on right now?” asks the man, who also requests an interview, which the cop refuses and says he resigns because of the protesters – not in solidarity with them.
“Oh, we… why,” the man asks the cop, who exits the vehicle for a moment to deal with a disturbance.
“Hey he said he was tired of us! He’s going to quit because of Black Lives Matter, not because he’s tired of the police! the man shouts at his fellow protesters.
“Hey, did you trigger my boy? You triggered? Oink, oink, oink, oink. F – you and your blue life, my boy, ”he then said to the officer, who seemed ready to extend an olive branch.
“No, we’ll never be friends. We’ll never see eye to eye, ”the man told him. “I don’t have one… if you remove this badge, you will never be my people.” You will never be my friend.
It was not immediately clear when and where the footage was shot, but it emerged days after Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best announced her resignation after city council voted to remove up to 100 agents of his department.
Roving gangs of Antifa rioters were caught on camera on Friday ransacking city streets, destroying property and painting graffiti – some carrying shields bearing the slogan “f – k the police”.
Two local activist groups demanded that Mayor Jenny Durkan spend $ 100 million in minority communities to explore alternative policing models.
Some Black Lives Matter activists have demanded that whites abandon their homes in a historically black neighborhood and “open their wallets” to fund protesters’ demands.
