Seattle Seahawks vs Philadelphia Eagles Week 12 instant counts

As expected, the Seahawks returned from their mini bye week with a handful of starters returning from injury, as Shaquill Griffin, Ethan Pocic and Chris Carson all lined up for Seattle. While the nature of Griffin and Pocic’s positions would see them return to a full role, the Seahawks had the advantage of being able to spell Carson at times – which they certainly did.

• It’s almost surprising to see, as he’s become a workhorse this season, but DK Metcalf not only fell below 90% of shots (82%), but played fewer shots than Tyler Lockett (90% ). All Metcalf could do through his 55 shots was torment the Eagles and establish a career-high in receiving yards.
• In their first full game without Greg Olsen, Will Dissly led tight ends, playing 72% of the shots. Jacob Hollister, 55%, and Colby Parkinson, 16%, round out the group. It should be noted that while Dissly was leading the shots, Hollister saw the majority of the shots in a tight set and received five zero targets from Dissly.
• On Carson’s return, the tailback only played 37% of the shots as Seattle was able to bring him back into things. Carlos Hyde, coming out of a strong game and more than capable of carrying things himself, led the way with 61% shots.
• Jarran Reed has played an insane amount of shots, reaching 89%. Poona Ford, 61%, and Damon Harrison, 25%, received about their usual numbers. Reed, an absolutely crucial part of the passing rush, needs to be kept fresh more consistently.
• Benson Mayowa saw his shots increase in his second game after injury, playing 56% to lead defensive volleys. Rasheem Green, at 55%, continues to return to the rotation upon his return from a neck injury. Carlos Dunlap, who injured his foot during the game, finished 54%.
• Finally, it was another underweight game for the Seahawks, as Ugo Amadi played 70% of the shots against 30% of Jordyn Brooks. With Griffin back, DJ Reed is completely off the lineup, seeing just six special-team shots.
