Sebadoh-2019

Sebadoh are back with Surprised act, their first album for more than six years, coming out on May 24 via Dangerbird. Lou Barlow, who returned to Massachusetts a short time ago, reunited with his fellow bandmates, Jason Lowenstein and Bob D'Amico, to record the record in their old field. The first single from the album called "Celebration the Void" and found them easily in Sebadoh's indie rock groove. "The first line of this song:" I have the feeling that you do not feel me "is very good. This could be a replica of a song of Ariana Grande, I l ''. "I like it," says Lou, "I followed it from there through general complaints about a composite character in my life, someone that I could never crack. walls are too high.If you think about it, resistance has always existed, even at the very beginning. What to do? Endlessly choose the seams? Replay moments in my head looking for a way to explain all this No, stop, there is no answer and that's good … Celebrate the void. "Listen below.

Lou, Jason and Bob will celebrate the void and the new album with a tour that begins May 22 in Pittsburgh and ends with two shows in the New York area: July 26 at the Bowery Ballroom and July 27 at Asbury Lanes. These shows and all their July dates are with Eleanor Friedberger. Tickets for Asbury Lanes put on sale at 10 o'clock and Bowery Ballroom put on sale at 13 hours.
