LSU # 10 took on Vanderbilt 80-59 on Saturday to close the regular season with a real SEC title. As such, the Tigers are the No. 1 seed of the SEC tournament next week. They got a five-day rest period before facing the winner of the Florida-Arkansas match on Friday.
No. 2 seed fell into Kentucky's hands after Tennessee, who were attempting to share the SEC title with a win on Saturday, dropped out of the road at Auburn in its season finale regular. The Wildcats are also resting for five days and will play their first game in the quarterfinals between Alabama or Ole Miss. Tennessee is the 3 favorite and will play against whoever wins between Mississippi State and Texas A & M or Vanderbilt.
