Phoebe Bridgers created it Saturday Night Live debut with a performance showcasing a pair of tracks from his 2020 album Punisher, Number 10 on Rolling stoneList of the best albums of 2020.

Bridgers opened her music spot with “Kyoto,” the singer and her band wearing all of her now-famous skeleton costumes. Later in the show, Bridgers returned with the closer Punisher “I Know the End,” a slow burner that resulted in a boisterous conclusion where Bridgers repeatedly smashed his guitar on an amp.

With the Covid-19 pandemic preventing Bridgers from supporting her new album on tour, the singer has instead spent the year putting on many notable virtual performances, including playing “Kyoto” from her bedroom. Late show and from his bathtub sure Jimmy Kimmel Live !, a version of the “Savior Complex” of a haunted Christmas attic sure Tonight’s show and “I know the end” in an empty theater sure Late night with Seth Meyers.

Bridgers, who recently appeared on Julien Baker’s “Favor” and Charlie Hickey’s “Ten Feet Tall”, is next booked to perform at this year’s Tibet House virtual benefit concert on February 17th.
