The sons of the Allman Brothers royal family, Devon Allman and Duane Betts, begin their first world tour in 2019 under the auspices of their new collaboration – the Allman Betts Band – with an extensive list of more than 60 dates.

This year is one of the milestones for Southern Rock families, marking not only the 50th anniversary of the Allman Brothers, but also the 30th anniversary of young Allman and Betts players playing for the first time together. Devon is the son of the late Gregg Allman, while Duane's father is Dickey Betts. With Berry Duane Oakley, the son of founder ABB bassist Berry Oakley, the band will perform in theaters across the country as well as in 10 major festivals, including Mountain Jam in Bethel, New York and Ramblin 'Man Fair in the UK . The tour will begin March 27 at the Brooklyn Bowl in New York.

The news of the tour follows a series of early concerts for the new project in 2018, following a tribute show that Allman staged for his father at the San Francisco Fillmore at the end 2017. The band Allman Betts will release their first album, To the river, Later this year.
