Sega Ages adds Ichidant-R, Shinobi, Wonder Boy, G-LOC, Herzog Zwei and more to programming

During Sega Fes 2019, Sega revealed that six new games will arrive on the Nintendo Switch Sega Ages range including Shinobi, Wonder Boy: Monster Land, Fantasy zone, and new archived titles like Ichidant-R, G-Loc Air Combat, and more.

Ichidant-R

The second game in the puzzle and action As-R series, with more than 16 games included. This is the first time the arcade version is brought, and this version also includes the extremely rare version of the International.

In this game, the two protagonists of As-R are now medieval knights who must save a princess from the demon king and must solve various mini-games to get to the castle of the demon king.

Shinobi

The original arcade game that started on Shinobi series, which has been worn on various consoles because of its popularity. Shinobi is an action game in which you take control of Joe Musashi, a living ninja nowadays, who fights against the evil Zeed organization that kidnaps ninja kids.

G-LOC: aerial battle

A 3D shooter that was the eleventh arcade game of Sega with a gadget like a rotating cockpit. The arcade version has never received a faithful port so far, because it has never been worn on the Mega Drive and Game Gear, technically inferior. A spiritual sequel to the afterburning series, you choose one of the three difficulties and you erase the missions within the given deadlines.

Fantasy zone

This version of the classic Fantasy zone is based on the 3DS version, which has added various new features while staying true to the arcade experience. For example, the Coin Stock system adds coins constantly and spending them will not exhaust them. This version also has an original pattern that was originally only in the Sega Mark III version of Fantasy zone. Finally, this version contains 'Link Loop Land', a hidden story in which you play the brother of Opa-Opa, Upa-Upa, in search of repayment of his debt.

Herzog Zwei

Another real-time strategy game by the Thunder Force Technosoft series manufacturers. In the game, players take control of a fighter who can turn into a mecha and strategically manage their resources in a fight against an army of AIs. This version of Herzog Zwei adds online to the feature.

Wonder Boy: Monster Land

The classic entrance in the convoluted Wonder Boy series (in terms of naming), and essentially the game at which Monster Boy: The Dragon Trap is a sequel to, this game remains popular to this day. In defeating enemies, you will collect gold that you can spend on items and new equipment to defeat MEKA Dragon at the very end.

This release includes the extremely rare international version, as well as online ranking modes such as "Sphinx Challenge", "Monster Castle Challenge", Sega ages online version included.

All of these games above have no release date currently.

Update: Sega has confirmed that all the games above will come to the west.
