The pop star released a Spanish single, “De Una Vez”.
She posted a clip of the song’s music video to her verified Instagram account on Thursday.
“This is the start of something that I have wanted to explore for so long,” the caption read in part. “I hope you like him as much as I do.”
In an interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music, Gomez said she wanted to work on a Spanish project because she is “so proud” of her heritage.
“I feel like now is the perfect time,” she said. “With all the division in the world, there is something about Latin music that, overall, makes people feel a lot.”
Gomez released his third solo album, “Rare”, a year ago.
