1st edition of the Agricultural and Animal Resources Fair

Kébémer, a department located in the region of Louga hosted for the first time in its history a fair for agricultural and animal resources. This department is full of enormous potential according to the chairman of the county council Modou Diagne Fada

The department of Kébémer vibrates with traditional sounds and colors for a few days. Indeed, under the initiative of the Departmental Council, the department houses for the first time a Fair of Agricultural and Animal Resources. This fair aims to boost the socio-economic development of this area which is full of enormous potential.

At the microphone of our colleagues of the South FM radio, the initiator of this meeting namely Modou Diagne Fada who affirms that Kébémer has a maritime fringe of part of the silvo-pastoral zone and a bridge groundnut basin.

"This first edition is an opportunity for these farmers, fishermen, breeders, artisans and other actors to show their potentialities … And who speaks of first edition is preparing for the second, third and so on. "Says Modou Diagne Fada who has not failed to salute their partners for their support.

This fair requires a lot of visibility especially throughout the world because the department has enormous potential agricultural, fisheries and pastoral. According to the governor of the region of Louga Alioune Badar Mbengue, during the visit of the stands, said to be "amazed by what he saw in these stands" asks that this activity be "shown to the face of the world"

This fair was an opportunity for exhibitors from 19 municipalities in the department to sell their products but to create different opportunities for partnerships with others.
