The deliberation of the general competition, cuvée 2018, was held on Saturday, June 30, at the meeting room of the Faculty of Education Sciences and Techniques of the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar. Diarry Sow, a student in the class of Première S1 at the Scientific High School of Excellence of Diourbel, was named the best student of the contest.
She was awarded 1 and prize of Citizenship and Human Rights , with a score of 16/20, the 2 e Prize in Life Sciences and Earth (15/20), the 2 e accessit of Physical Sciences (16 / 20) and the 2nd e Mathematics degree (12,75 / 20). Total number of ratings obtained: 59.75. Diarry is the best girl in the 2018 General Competition
According to the Minister of National Education who made the announcement, she is followed by El Hadji Abdul Aziz Dabakh Kane, a student in the S1 final class at the Private Technical High School Amadou Sow Ndiaye of St. Louis. The latter obtained the 1 er Philosophy Prize, with a score of 16/20, the 1 er History Award (16/20) and the 3 e French price (14/20).
It counts 46 points. Sammy Davis Yann Ombandza, a student in Terminale L'1 class at Prytanée militaire Charles Ntchorere in Saint-Louis, comes third. He obtained the 2 e History Prize with a score of 15/20, the 3 e Geography Award (14/20) and the 1 er accessit of Citizenship and Human Rights (13/20), with a total number of ratings of 42.
The solemn ceremony of awards is scheduled for Thursday, August 2, at the Grand National Theater in Dakar, and will be chaired by President Macky Sall. The sponsor of this 2018 edition is Professor Iba Der Thiam
