For those who prefer the sedan to the SUV, the choices become more and more limited. But Nissan believes that the full size sedan still has a place in the fleet. And its Maxima sports a unique style that stands out from the crowd. For 2019, the Maxima underwent some aesthetic and technological iterations.

First, its shield has been slightly modified to accommodate a new V-Motion grille. The back has also been reworked; new quad exhaust tips are now under the bumper. The SR variant also gets a new spoiler at the rear.

The Nissan Maxima 2019 is available in SV, SL, SR and Platinum variants. Only one set of options is offered, this is the Platinum Reserve. It features 19-inch wheels, heated rear seats and Rakuda cabin in tan semi-aniline leather. Seats feature a new design, and charcoal pillars and flag have been added for SR and Platinum Reserve models

The V6 3.5-liter engine has been retained, which develops a power of 300 horses.

As with the Altima, Qashqai, Murano and Rogue models of the 2019 vintage, the "360 Degree Shield", which includes a variety of driver assistance and safety systems, is also available on the Maxima 2019. In the technology package, we find the intelligent emergency braking system with pedestrian detection, a cross-traffic alert system, high-beam headlights, a lane departure detection system, a blind spot warning system and an intelligent emergency braking system in reverse.

The prices and inclusions in the various variants should be revealed in the coming weeks. The arrival in the concessions is scheduled for January 2019.
