5 other women accuse Luc Besson of sexual abuse

Médiapart has collected testimony from five other women who accuse Luc Besson of sexual abuse. While the director was already in turmoil, in full #MeToo era, accusations accumulate and languages ​​continue to untie: "If these women denounce facts of a different gravity, their stories overlap on several points. Most describe, at least, the misplaced, similar and repetitive behaviors of Luc Besson towards very young women working, or likely to work with him " explains the newspaper. The majority are women who have worked closely or remotely with Luc Besson. One of them even claims to have been the assistant director and producer. She was allegedly subjected to three non-consensual sexual relations. She even refers to professional appointments that happened in a hotel and turned into a nightmare.

As of last July, four women had accused Luc Besson of sexual abuse. The complaints and accusations have not stopped since the former broke the silence. Among those who recently spoke about what they suffered, there are two students from the School of the City, school on the initiative of Luc Besson in Seine Saint Denis. One evokes incidents during the filming of the film Valerian where the director would have had inappropriate gestures such as "kisses leaning in the neck". Feasts that date from 2012. In 2016, another young woman and student at the School of the City, Pauline, would have had a similar experience. On the sidelines of a school event, Besson would have "downright rubbed at her" saying : "Does it need to eat huh ?!" He would have even "put a hand to the buttocks".

Médiapart also noted Amanda's testimony that "would have undergone permanent touching on the buttocks and unwanted kisses … The wandering hand under the blouse, sometimes under the skirt, like a kid trying to screw you up neither seen nor known." Stories that are cold in the back and doubtless question the popularity of Luc Besson.
