Our confreres of the Observer inform us that the roads continue to kill. According to the latest data from "April Africa", in collaboration with the New Road Safety, road accidents are the cause of many deaths, due to the irresponsibility of drivers. "In Senegal, road accidents cause, on average, 500 deaths per month. From 2014 to 2017, they caused 2130 cases of death. A worrying figure, especially since the main causes of these accidents are carelessness and non-compliance with the Highway Code, according to the direction of the New Road Safety of Senegal (NPRS). And with the rapid growth of these accidents, the Ministry of Transport has decided soon to introduce the points license.
