The celebration of this World Day intensifies national efforts against this scourge and will also be the occasion to launch the first national strategy to combat hepatitis in Senegal. It is one of the eight (08) official WHO campaigns for global public health and is regularly celebrated in Senegal.
Raising public awareness of the seriousness and consequences of these infections, as well as Patients on the need to be cared for are a priority for the National Hepatitis Program (PNLH).
