Not recruited to the public service since their release in July 2017, inspectors of the 24th class of the National Institute of Higher Education and Sport (Inseps) begin a strike from hunger. In their memorandum they rebel against "social injustice" and the "unfair treatment" they face. These Inseps leavers also draw the attention of the administrative and political authorities to "unjustified blockages and delays related to the signing of (their) acts of service".
Holder of at least one master's degree university, they recall going through a selective competition of the State with a 2-year training at the Inseps of Dakar. "From July 2017 to today, we are desperately waiting for our nomination decree to take service at the Ministry of Sports. Yet since August 2017, budget positions had been opened to take charge of our integration, "they lament. However, denounce the strikers, "the graduates of the Fastef as well as the teachers of Eps have all taken service since October 2017. More serious still, all the outgoing national schools, we are the only ones to be kept unemployed during a year without purse or salary. "
If they specify having met or sent correspondences to several university and administrative authorities, these inspectors regretted on the other hand that these" alerts and peaceful approaches with the Administration and the political authorities are remained without continuation ". Therefore, "in front of Senegalese history and public opinion, the academic, administrative and political authorities will be held entirely responsible for the consequences that would result from this strike", they warn.
