An Italian court on Tuesday dismissed a request for a suspension filed by the Simon Fiducaria trust related to Vivendi against two resolutions passed by the general assembly of the Italian media group in June.

In April, Vivendi transferred 19.9% ​​of its stake in Mediaset to this trust in order to reduce its direct interest in Mediaset to less than 10%, as the Italian authorities asked it to reduce its weight in Telecom Italia or Mediaset for comply with anti-trust regulations.

Mediaset closed the doors of its AG to the trust in June, preventing it from voting.

The trust had requested that two of the decisions adopted by the AG – one relating to a loyalty scheme and the other of stock options – be suspended as a precautionary measure before a judge pronounces on the merits on the merits. a request for cancellation. The trust also requests that Simon Fiduciaria has the right to fully exercise its voting rights.
