An Italian court on Tuesday dismissed a request for a suspension filed by the Simon Fiducaria trust related to Vivendi against two resolutions passed by the general assembly of the Italian media group in June.
In April, Vivendi transferred 19.9% of its stake in Mediaset to this trust in order to reduce its direct interest in Mediaset to less than 10%, as the Italian authorities asked it to reduce its weight in Telecom Italia or Mediaset for comply with anti-trust regulations.
Mediaset closed the doors of its AG to the trust in June, preventing it from voting.
