The management of France Galop has today presented to its Central Social and Economic Committee a project to reorganize its activities in Maisons-Laffitte. Due to the fall in income from stakes (which represent more than 90% of its financial resources), France Galop has accumulated a deficit of 119 million euros between 2014 and 2017.?
The parent company has initiated a transformation plan, several important milestones have already been completed. The transformation plan continues today with a project to resize and modernize the gallop work tool in France. This project would result in the elimination of 31 positions on the Maisons-Laffitte site. It would be implemented through an Employment Protection Plan (PSE), following the information-consultation procedure of the employee representative bodies.
