All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA 2018): No Ivorian artist among the winners

The 5th edition of AFRIMA was held in Accra, Ghana on November 24, 2018. The event brought together music stars, dignitaries and music lovers from the African continent who marked the year.

If formerly Abidjan was the capital of African music, today the Ivory Coast is well behind all the countries that came to seek musical notoriety.

Some artists (Safarel Obiang, Kedjevava and Kerozen DJ, Yabongo), recently fill the room Anoumanbo, the largest auditorium in Côte d'Ivoire, but their success remains local. This situation raises the question of the quality of Ivorian music.
