Tuesday, the Cairo Economic Court has condemned the former president of the CAF, Issa Hayatou, and its former secretary general, Hicham El Amrani, to 500 million Egyptian pounds each (about 24.5 million euros) for "abuse of dominant position" in the deal with Lagardère Sports.
The former boss of African football responded to the controversy on Wednesday.
