Building on the modeling of augmented and virtual reality,
the VE Innovation Center offers start-ups and
builders established an environment conducive to learning
new technologies and standards, so that they can market
electric vehicles faster, less risky and less
cost.
It's the combination of Rockwell Automation technology with that
of its partners which is the originality of the center. For example,
FactoryTalk InnovationSuite from Rockwell Automation, powered by PTC,
is an unmatched integrated solution that combines PTC software
and Rockwell Automation. In the same way, Eagle Technologies
provides the battery assembly machine and FANUC, the technologies
robotic. These two solutions are integrated with the technology of
Rockwell Automation.
Hirata, a turnkey assembly line builder, offers a
assembly cell that illustrates assembly and unit testing
electric drive. Emulate 3D, the simulation software of
Rockwell Automation, allows prototyping and testing machines
before their construction. teamtechnik performs functional tests
to confirm performance before integrating training into the
electric vehicle.
"In response to growing consumer demand from around the world,
electric vehicle manufacturers are facing delays in
aggressive production, "said John Kacsur, Vice President,
Automotive and Tire Industries, at Rockwell Automation. " We have
created the Innovation Center for Electric Vehicles to expand
their possibilities and to enable them to offer their products to
consumers quickly and at the lowest possible cost, while
operating more efficiently.
"It's an immersive experience that helps clients develop and
concretize The Connected Enterprise (the connected company): our
vision of intelligent manufacturing that allows them to take advantage of
data and to obtain positive commercial results, "
Mr. Kacsur. "With more than 4,000 automotive manufacturing projects
designed, installed and commissioned successfully, Rockwell Automation
knows how to help electric vehicle manufacturers to
to market faster and better manage their risks
professionals. "
Mr Kacsur underlined that the VE Center supports the efforts of
digitization not only for automotive and automotive customers
pneumatic, but for all sectors. Customers are invited to
visit the VE center and meet industry experts.
According to Bloomberg New Energy Finance, electric vehicles should,
by 2040, represent 54% of new vehicle sales. The
batteries currently account for one-third of the cost of a vehicle
electric. As the cost of batteries continues to fall, the
demand for electric vehicles will increase up to
40 million new EV batteries needed each year for
equip new vehicles.
