Abatalib Fall, new Coach NGB: "My goal is to grow the club"

Holder of a CAF B license, Abatalib Fall is a 44 year old professional trainer. Former international A and professional footballer, Abatalib Fall has made his career in the country of golf. Former Customs coach (2005-2010), Abatalib made the beautiful days of the Renaissance of Dakar (2010-2012), Teungueth FC (2012-2013), US Ouakam (2013-2014) and Jamono Fatick (2015-2017) before to land at Port (2017-2018)

In this interview he gave to wiwsport.com, ABA coach as he is called in the middle returned to his season at the head of the Port, the reasons of his departure and his challenges in his new club NGB. Interview.

You have run the Port for 1 year (2017-2018) and you finished 6th in the League 2 standings. Are you satisfied with your experience with this club?

"I am a former of the Port. I played with a title of vice champion of Senegal and winner of the Senegal Cup as a player. It was a season when we left to ensure the rise in Ligue 1 if it was not the budget problem that occurred after the change of management at the management level of the Autonomous Port of Dakar. Despite this on the ground we had worked well not to be ridiculous.

What do you mean by budget problem?

"The new General Management has blocked the budget of the team and for a business team it hurts. The team struggled to make expenses to perform.

That would be one of the reasons for your departure as head of the club?

"This is especially so. There was a lot of uncertainty, especially since the UCST (Cultural and Sports Union of Port Workers) depends on the direction of the subsidizing PORT. We can not rely on the moods of the Directorate General, while football requires planning at all levels.

You have just signed to the NGB for two seasons. A club that has saved itself from relegation in the last days of the championship. Are you aware of what awaits you at the head of this group?

"I know what's waiting for me, I'm in my midst. I am not a coach by default. I made my passion my job so I am a privileged. I will do my best to meet the expectations of the club even if we come out of a chaotic season.

What is your goal for both seasons with NGB?

"Stabilize the team in Ligue 1 and play the domestic trophies thoroughly. Grow the club "
