The African Development Bank will hold a presentation on Africa Investment Forum (AIF), Africa's leading investment market, on Monday, 23 July in Tunis. This presentation will precede the first ever "Africa Investment Forum", to be held in Johannesburg from 7 to 9 November 2018.

Tunis will be the first stage of a regional road show that will lead a high-level delegation of the African Bank in Cairo on the 25th, Casablanca on the 27th and Algiers on the 29th of July. The aim will be to inform stakeholders and to stimulate the interest of private operators to prepare projects likely to be presented in November 2018 to potential stakeholders in Africa. The AIF is intended to be a multi-stakeholder and multi-disciplinary platform dedicated to supporting project appraisal up to the point of financing, raising capital and accelerating the financial closure of projects.
The Bank specifies Monday in a statement, that it pilot this new 100% transactional initiative – the Africa Investment Forum (AIF), which, to date, represents the best opportunity to stimulate the economic transformation of the continent. To meet this challenge, the African Development Bank has designed this forum as a mobilization platform to engage the private sector and facilitate projects with the capacity to transform the continent.

"This is not a fair of discussions. There will be no political speeches. The AIF is an open space to coordinate the efforts of multilateral institutions, governments and the private sector to improve a pipeline of projects that can transform the continent, "said Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank. at the Africa CEO Forum, last March
