APS and CICES renew their partnership

Dakar, Nov. 28 (APS) – The Senegalese News Agency (APS) and the International Trade Center of Senegal (CICES) have renewed their partnership on the media coverage of the Dakar International Fair. 27th edition opens Thursday.


The document was initialed by the Director General of the APS, Thierno birahim Fall, and his counterpart of CICES, Sheikh Ndiaye.

The partnership between the APS and the CICES "has been really fruitful" and "serves as a framework to accompany and do the FIDAK together," said the director general of CICES.

According to the CEO of the APS, this partnership has already allowed "palpable achievements to grow in terms of visibility", the APS is part of a network of 42 news agencies gathered within the Atlantic Federation of press agencies African (FAAPA).

The information from APS "is relayed in real time on this network", Mr. Fall.

Therefore the DGs of APS and CICES reiterated their common desire to deepen and sustain this partnership beyond FIDAK.

"Beyond the Fair, beyond this time sequence, we will continue to cover all the activities of CICES, which is the showcase of foreign trade.


It is a sustainable partnership that embraces virtually all areas, all areas of evolution and intervention (…) "," up to "the organization of FIDAK's specific activities", said Thierno Birahim Fall.

The director of CICES, for his part, assures that this partnership "will not stop (…) and is not limited to FIDAK".

"You are in the information, we are in the organization of events, a sustainable couple (…), we will work every day to see how to develop this partnership based on product development and our organizational perspectives" added Sheikh Ndiaye.
